Go go go bid of my Boyfriend and I’s beautiful creation. We need furniture for our new apartment.
Tuesday Aug 30 @ 06:05pmRarity crocheted plush! Her mane and tail were VERY complicated to do! First, I made an underlying structure out of felt and stuffing, and then I painstakingly sewed strands of yarn onto the felt until it was completely covered. This gives Rarity the appearance of having yarn hair while allowing it to have the structure and rigidity required to give her more show-accurate curls.
So in short, she is totally fabulous.
(psst…if you want to own her she’ll eventually be on eBay)
Reblogging this from Sam and I’s My Little Pony plushie selling blog thing because GOOD GOD were her mane and tail an excruciating pain in the ass to make. But now she looks really good and someone better pay hella monies for her on eBay.

We made an Applejack!!! Soon, she will have a hat as well!
Amigurumi Applejack my boyfriend and I made. He came up with the pattern and did the crocheting, I added sewn details and did the hair. She’s about 9 inches high and six inches long, so she’s totally cuddly (and took a long time to make!).
We’re keeping this one, but we’re making more ponies (we’ve got materials for most of the main six + Derpy Hooves right now) for sale, probably through ebay auctions. Any bronies out there interested in owning one?

My boyfriend and I want to get a corgi, but as poor undergrads we can’t have one right now. So for Christmas, I made him the next best thing: a cuddly stuffed corgi, completely hand-sewn from my own pattern.
My boyfriend named him Lord Wafflestack of Buttercreamshire.

That is adorable. And the name is fabulous! Wafflestack! Haha!
You got the stumpyness just right. :)
Would you be willing to share the pattern?
Unfortunately my “patterns” tend to be 50% make-it-up-as-I-go, but possibly you could modify this Dachshund pattern I used for inspiration into your own plush corgi? :)

Lord Wafflestack of Buttercreamshire the corgi. My hand-sewing and my pattern, but as he was a gift to my boyfriend he had naming rights. Have to give credit where credit is due.
